Praying
Several years ago I started writing weekly thoughts, in apart for myself, and in part for others, on living day by day in relationship with the God revealed in the Old and New Testament. The focus of these writings can be as varied as my thoughts for that week, but more often than not reflect on life lived – truths that both affect and bring into perspective all other aspects of our limited time on this planet.
Some say it was King Solomon who wrote:
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. – Ecclesiastes 3:11
This tension, between that which we see and assess as good, and that which we can not grasp or fully fathom, is the realm of faith, and ultimately the most important part of our existence.
The thoughts expressed here are simply my reflections as I walk my journey. I hope they encourage your own.
